Suzuki has released teaser images of its new C-segment SUV, which will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The unnamed model will replace the current SX4 and Suzuki has previously confirmed that it will be larger than that car and will rival models such as the Nissan Qashqai and Skoda Yeti.

Just two images have been released so far. One shows the whole car, and the other is a close-up of the headlight and front grille.

Suzuki says the new SUV is based on the S-Cross concept car that was revealed at the Paris motor show in September 2012.

As expected, the production version has a toned-down look, with a more conventional treatment for the front bumper and windscreen pillars.

The new model will be available with four-wheel drive, and is due on sale later this year.

“Looks like any other Hyundai, Kia, Nissan etc. Bet they won't say how much this new car depreciates every year as few people want a secondhand Suzuki.”
