AN estate in Gloucestershire is offering the opportunity to shoot pheasants.

Lydney Park Estate, in Lydney, is encouraging days of pheasant shooting on the grounds.

The programme for a days shooting can be tailored to guests' needs.

The general itinerary includes morning coffees, shooting party departure at 9.30am, lunch at a purpose built shooting lodge, shooting party departure at 2pm followed by afternoon tea.

Corporate and private shooting days can be organised with a team of four to eight guns.

The estate has been actively developed to create challenging drives where the birds are high and curling – testing all abilities.
