Ethopian charity thanks Cheltenham Ladies College
SPONSORED swimmers have been praised for their efforts at Cheltenham Ladies' College for their part in organising a swimathon.
The Ethiopian Link, a UK charity for orphaned children in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is organising a sponsored swim today to raise funds. They raised about £5,000 last year.
Swim organiser Nancy Western said they were grateful to Lisa Silver and her team at CLC Sports Centre.
She said: " Lisa has gone out of her way to accommodate us. Not only did she find a date when we could have exclusive use of the pool, but she also offered the services of the lifeguards to meet our health and safety requirements."
