Family's concern for missing George Ford, 20
THE FAMILY of missing Stroud student George Ford have now (dec 16) been waiting anxiously for news of his whereabouts for three long days.
The parents and brother of George, 20, had been keeping vigil by their telephones since he walked out of their Slad Road home at the weekend, police said.

There had been only one sighting of George, who attends Nottingham University, since he left at around 3am on Sunday (December 16), Gloucestershire Constabulary spokesman Simon Masters said.
"That was at around quarter to five the same Sunday morning," Mr Masters said.

But there'd since been no news and officers were working urgently to trace George because of concerns for his well being, he said.
"We would urge anyone who has seen him to call police," said Mr Masters.
All police forces had been alerted to George's disappearance.
Nottingham University had also been contacted and asked to re-tweet the most recent picture of George.
Said Mr Masters: "He could be in Nottingham as he attends university there."
George is white, around six feet one inch tall, with brown wavy shoulder length hair.
He was last seen wearing a green tee-shirt with "Hitchhike Morocco" on the front, grey combat trousers, a brown satchel bag and black DC trainers with blue detail.
Although he does drive, it is not though George had access to a car.
Anyone who can help police should call them on 101 quoting incident 175 of December 16.
