Fan reaction: Oli Fell's view of Cheltenham 1 Rochdale 2
I really am wondering what is going on with Cheltenham Town at the moment.
Great result to beat Dagenham and Redbridge 2-1 away, the fans are happy. Faith is restored in Yates and the season kicks on.
But, then we get that. Then we play like that. Memories of Gillingham home two seasons ago when we got battered 3-0 and the heavens opened much like today.
That was awful. As soon as we went 1-0 up the players just sat back and let Rochdale press us. Although, not only did they sit back. They didn't even press. Wave after wave after wave of attack came in and we defended resolutely.

Now, I was thinking it, and I'm pretty sure you were all thinking it too. "Ok, Gornell on for Cureton and Noble on for Penn, seeing as he's on a yellow especially."
Nope. We were happy to let them attack us, weary legs and all.
More attacks, and then the goal. A free header which Brown spilt into the net. OK, so it wasn't totally Brown's fault considering the rain and the fact it was a free header, but nine times out of 10 it's saved.
I was happy with a point in all honesty, going into another home game, but I still wanted us to press and try and snatch the winner.
Nope. Defend. The team looked so, so lost. We were just CRYING out for a substitute. Noble or Gornell on. It wasn't exactly a hard decision either.
I knew it, you knew it. 92nd minute. Awful defending and it's 2-1. Rochdale bench invades the pitch, the fans take their shirts off and they've rained all over our parade.
All in all; a seriously frustrating result and an inept performance. The rain didn't help, but it was the same for both sides.
It's time for Yates to bite the bullet and admit he was at fault for not changing it up. We should have seen that out. So disappointing.
OUT OF 10
Scott Brown 5 - Made some decent saves but should have done better for the goals.
Sido Jombati 5 - Average performance, caught out at the back. Spent lots of time on the floor...
Troy Brown 6 - Defended solidly and grabbed a goal.
Keith Lowe 5 - Was OK at the back, nowhere for the goal.
Craig Braham-Barrett 4 - Felt sorry for him after taking a whack, but was really quite poor today.
Jason Taylor 5 - Actually one of the better players today, but misplaced passes.
Russ Penn 4 - Awful today. Really, really poor. Noble should have replaced him.
Matt Richards 5 - Decent at the back, too many long hopeful balls though.
Jermaine McGlashan 5 - Booked for 'diving'. Used pace well but didn't create enough.
Byron Harrison 6 - Won 99% of his headers and generally played well.
Jamie Cureton 5 - Fed off scraps, wasn't his type of game.
