ONCE again St Martin's church in Horsley was transformed into a vibrant, bustling space bedecked with bunting and colourfully clad tables, for the village's annual Flower and Produce Show on Saturday.

The day coincided with Horsley Fete on the neighbouring playing field. Youngsters enjoyed driving go-karts and riding ponies and there were performances from Nailsworth Silver Band as well as stalls and games. Green-fingered residents, and arty youngsters demonstrated their skills at the produce show.

"The produce show was fantastic! It was lovely to see all the beautiful entries laid out and the excitement of all the winners, especially the children.

"My daughter Martha, aged two, won a rosette for her painting and has never been more proud," said mum Laura Packer.
