Firefighters tackle Stroud garage blaze
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a garage blaze in Stroud yesterday evening.
Two engines and 12 crewmembers from Stroud Fire Station attended the garage in Randwick at around 5.45pm and spent almost two hours dealing with the incident.
A Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Unfortunately the garage, which was eight metres by four metres, was severely damaged by the fire.
"However the crews managed to stop the fire spreading to further storage sheds and buildings within the vicinity."
