Firefighters are treating the cause of a blaze at a barn in the Cotswolds near Stroud as 'suspicious'.

Two engines were called out to the former World War Two bunker, which contained straw, at Cherington cross roads at around 6.45am this morning.

Firefighters said the cause of a barn fire early this morning at Cherrington is suspicious.

Two fire crews tackled the blaze and said police were alerted after a substance thought to be petrol was found at the scene.
