Fireworks raise sparkling £12k
MOVIES were the theme of this autumn's annual Ebley Fireworks.
Music from the likes of Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars accompanied the spectacular 25-minute display.
Organisers from the Rotary clubs of Stroud, Nailsworth and Stonehouse and the Stroud and Stonehouse Round Table drew a crowd of around 5,000 to Marling School field for the bonfire night fun which raised in excess of £12,000 for charity.
"It was a dry night and the fog kept away, which had been our concern," spokesman Alastair Andrews said.
