FLOODING worries were due for discussion in Stroud last night during a visit by shadow cabinet member Mary Creagh.

Householders affected by flooding issues, particularly in the Stonehouse area, were encouraged to highlight their experiences.

Ms Creagh was due at a meeting arranged by Stroud Constituency Labour Party.

Families at Bridgend in Stonehouse have long been among those working to defend their properties from increased local river levels affecting the area.
