Flood warnings remain in place for Severn, despite dry day ahead
SIX flood warnings remain in place for the River Severn despite a brief respite in poor weather conditions.
Flood warnings issued by the Environment Agency are in place for the River Severn at Apperley and The Leigh, including Deerhurst Walton and Prior's Norton.

The Rivers Severn is also at risk of flooding at Calow End and Court Meadow, Kempsey.
A dry day is expected across the county today (Friday) with daytime temperatures peaking at around 9C (48F), with a 6mph south west breeze.

More rain is expected to sweep in from around 4am tomorrow, with another wet day in store for Saturday.
Temperatures will peak at around 13C (55F).
