Flooding: Latest warnings and road closures
Flood warnings remain in place today along much of the River Severn.
Several roads in the county are also shut as consistent heavy rainfall means homeowners are bracing themselves for a waterlogged few days.
Flood warnings are in place along the River Severn at:
- Ashleworth
- Sandhurst and Maisemore
- Gloucester
- Hempsted
- Tewkesbury
- Severn Ham, Tewkesbury
- Chaceley and Haw Bridge
- Abbots Court, Deerhurst
- Apperley and The Leigh

Despite the warning remaining, the Environment Agency said the river level has been dropping. The guage at Gloucester reached a peak of 4.2metres yesterday and was at 4.18metres at the last update.
Current road closures due to floods include:
- A417 at Maisemore
- B4213 Hawbridge
- Base Lane, Sandhurst
- Drybook cutting
- Downton Road, Leonard Stanley
- Spittalgate Lane and Dugdale Road in Cirencester and other routes in Siddington
