Food swap to bring Gloucestershire producers together
FOOD fans from Gloucestershire are hosting a community swap later this month.
The FFfood! Swap on Saturday, August 31, at the Subscription Rooms, Nailsworth, will bring together like-minded people, reduce waste and save people money.
Domonic White, founder of FFfood! said: "We wanted to hold the event at a time when there is real glut of food, with people harvesting from their allotments and baking for their children during the summer holidays.
"We are hoping it will be a fun, social event that brings the community together, creates a buzz around home produce and that it becomes a regular event in everyone's calendar."
The swap encourages people to trade homemade, homegrown and seasonal produce with each other. From jam and chutney to biscuits and bread, all is welcome.
