Ford Focus driver sought after sheep dies in suspected dog attack in Frocester
Police are appealing for information after the body of a sheep was found with bite marks to its neck in Frocester.
At around 3pm on Saturday February 9, a black Collie-type dog was seen running around a field just off Frocester Hill chasing sheep. The dog was then taken hold of by a neighbour. A woman came to collect the dog around an hour and a half later. Later that day the owner of the sheep went to check on his flock and discovered the body of one of his sheep with bite marks to its neck.
Police would particularly like to speak to woman who came to collect the dog. She is described as having 'scraggly' grey hair and driving a blue Ford Focus car.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 282 of February 9.
