FOREST GREEN ROVERS 1 NUNEATON TOWN 0
FOREST Green shook off the division's anchormen to keep up the pressure at the Blue Square Bet Premier summit.
Half-time substitute James Norwood's seventh goal of the season was enough to settle a largely forgettable contest, a third win in four league outings for Dave Hockaday's men.
Nuneaton had to play the final 35 minutes with ten men following Gavin Cowan's red card, but in truth they looked a desperately poor outfit throughout.

Hockaday could not have asked for a more immediate response from Norwood, as first he pounced on a weak punch by Adam Smith and saw his curling effort strike the foot of the post.
The ball was picked up by Matty Taylor on the left, and his clever pass found Norwood in space for an emphatic low finish into the bottom corner of the net.
Boro's gameplan had to change, but three minutes later defender Cowan senselessly struck Aarran Racine off the ball when defending a free-kick and was banished to the dressing room.
