Styche had been taken off by stretcher after a challenge in the home game against Wrexham on February 2.

While the injury originally seemed to be a medial strain with no obvious ACL element, a lack of improvement and gradually increasing pain, saw the 23-year-old sent for a scan, which revealed a ruptured ACL in his left knee.
Reece is booked in for surgery at Cheltenham's Nuffield Hospital, where he underwent the knife in 2011 to correct cartilage damage in his right knee.

With an estimated recovery time of nine months, Rovers hope to see the forward return at the end of the year.
Styche had scored seven times this season from 30 games, 11 of them being starts.
