Forest Green's Powell on mission to impress
FOREST Green embark on leg one of a crucial road trip at Luton Town tonight (7.45pm), although it will feel like home for Danny Powell, writes Peter Orchard.
The on-loan MK Dons winger lives within a stone's throw of Kenilworth Road and can count on the support of friends and family in the stands, all of whom hope he can repeat his virtuoso display against York City on Saturday.

Tonight's clash is the most daunting of four successive away games for Rovers, with Luton occupying the final play-off spot in the Blue Square Premier.
But Powell, who scored his fourth goal of the campaign in a precious 2-1 victory over the Minstermen, is in confident mood.
"We needed a win because we were starting to get adrift in the relegation zone, but we got a good performance as well as the result we needed," said Powell, who turns 19 on Friday.
"I think it helped us having a couple of weeks off beforehand. We worked on a lot of things in training and it was great to get the three points.
"We've got four big away games coming up now and we'll be trying to get something from all of them, starting with Luton.
"It will be a big game for me because I live there and I know a couple of boys there. I'm really looking forward to it."
Powell's goal on Saturday left City goalkeeper Michael Ingham red faced, as he was beaten by a looping effort from an unlikely angle in the left corner.
Most observers branded it an over-hit cross – as did Powell's more mischievous team mates – but the teenager maintains it was no fluke.
He said: "To be honest it was half-and-half – I looked up, saw where the keeper was and decided to dink it.
"Luckily it went in the back of the net, which was a great feeling for me because I'd missed three games through illness.
"Dave Hockaday has been really good to me and it was nice to repay him. Hopefully I've got a few more goals left in me this season."
Rovers are likely to name an unchanged squad this evening, with Curtis McDonald again missing with an ankle injury sustained on Wales semi-pro duty. Fellow defender and long-term absentee Lee Ayres (groin) remains a couple of weeks away from contention.
