​Former Million Dead frontman Frank Turner will play a special New Year's show in Gloucester.

Frank, who gone on to firmly establish himself as a solo performer since his days with punk upstarts Million Dead, will play at the Spiegeltent in Kings Square to see in 2010.

Spiegeltent spokesman Andrew Mitchell-Stead said: “This show is a real coup for the Spiegeltent and for Gloucester.

"Frank usually performs in venues that hold around 2,000 people, so for him to be performing to an intimate crowd of less than 400 fans on such a special night of the year is fantastic for the city.”
