Gang of nine in late night Gloucester attack
Up to nine men punched and kicked two other guys in a late night attack in Gloucester last night.
Police are appealing for information following the robbery in Alfred Street.

Two Gloucester men, aged 21 and 19, were walking through Barton Street when they were approached by a group of around eight or nine men close to the entrance of Gym Nation.
The two men were punched and kicked by members of the group who demanded items of their property.

The robbers finally made off with two mobile phones – a Blackberry in a red outer case with the Jack Daniels logo on it and a black Nokia camera phone with silver rim.
While one of the victims suffered bruising neither men needed hospital treatment.
One offender is described as being of mixed heritage, around 18 or 19 years old and wearing a flat cap, blue or green scarf and a hoody over his face.
Another offender is described as black, around 18 or 19 years old, and wearing a black Puffa jacket, jeans and white trainers.
The other offenders are described as white and also around 18 or 19 years old.
Several of the group were riding bikes while a couple of the offenders were sitting on the handlebars of those bikes.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, the group of offenders in the area or with any information about this crime is urged to call 101, quoting incident 433 of January 21.
