Top Gear returns to screens
It's been gone for while, but certainly not forgotten! Yes, the guys are back – as big (apart from the hamster), bold and controversial as ever. Top Gear officially returns to our screens on Sunday, January 27 on BBC Two and BBC HD.
Has Jeremy Clarkson become quiet and well-mannered? Will James May be the most exciting man on the planet? Probably not, and that's the why we love the show, which is in its 19th series.
First up, Jeremy revisits one of his favourite Top Gear films by attempting to build a car that's even smaller than the Peel P50, before testing it out on the streets of London and then, finally, in front of the fearsome Dragon's Den. No word yet whether Fiona Bruce's bottom makes another appearance.
Meanwhile, James road-tests the fearsome new 205mph Bentley Continental GT Speed by taking it out on a British Rally stage, and Richard Hammond makes a welcome return to the test track in the sensational new Pagani Huayra (before handing over to a certain tame racing driver).
British actor Damian Lewis might have thought winning a Golden Globe for his role as Sergeant Nick Brody was the highlight of his career, but he's wrong, according to Clarkson and Co, because the star of epic TV series Homeland will be the first guest on the new series of Top Gear as its Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. Seat belts on, settle back and enjoy.
