Scary stories from a Westbury-on-Severn writer are flying off the shelves in the Forest of Dean.
Dena Bryant-Duncan wrote True Ghost Stories from the Forest of Dean after experiencing some spooky goings-on first hand.

The mother of three grown-up sons and grandmother of two said: “I have lived here for about 10 years and heard all the stories and was interested in them.
“So me and my husband Terry went around all the places and asked about the tales.
“He took pictures for the book and I wrote the book from my kitchen table.
“They are all true stories of what Terry and I have experienced and they are selling really well.”
The book costs £4.50 and 50p from each book will be donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
She added: “It didn’t take me too long, I did about a chapter a day and whizzed through it.
“I will be starting my next one in February which will be about fairies and angels in the Forest of Dean.”
The books can be bought from Dena at her home, The Manse in Westbury, the Forest Bookshop in Coleford or the Dean Heritage Centre in Soudley.
