Pastor Steve Austin-Sparks, who has been a minister at the church for seven years, said: “Everyone is welcome to the events as always and we are hoping to get a good crowd here to celebrate.
“We will have some members from years ago, including two former ministers. But the main thing we will celebrate is looking forward.
“We have held a number of events over the years which we still hold today, like coffee morning and children’s group and we are looking at building on that in the coming years and working more in the community.”
The church, which has a congregation of around 200, is holding a number of events this weekend.
Mr Austin-Sparks said: “We are having a variety evening on Friday, a barn dance on Saturday and a service of thanksgiving on Sunday. Everyone is welcome to join-in and all events are free.”
