Gloucester City: 'Play your heart out to earn cup place'
MANAGER Dave Mehew has told his Gloucester City squad that on Sunday they will be playing for their places in one of the biggest games in the club's history.
The Tigers host Maidenhead United in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy only days before facing Leyton Orient in a rescheduled FA Cup first-round tie at Whaddon Road on Wednesday.

Mehew will give short shrift to anyone thinking of pulling out of tackles or saving their energy for the match against the Os.
"They won't do that because if they do they won't be playing against Leyton, it's as simple as that," he said.

"In fairness we played quite well against Corby in our match before we were due to play Orient and got hit by a couple of suckerpunches, but the attitude was pretty good.
"It will have to be the same again if they want to play against Leyton Orient."
City sit 15th in Blue Square North while Maidenhead are one place better off in Blue Square South.
As their league positions suggest, Mehew believes a close contest is on the cards on Sunday.
"It will be a tough game against Maidenhead, the London clubs tend to knock the ball around," he said.
"Like all games against teams from the same sort of standard opposition, it's who wants it more on the day and we've got to make our home form count.
"They've got a few players who have played down in the West Country so we know a bit about them and I've spoken to Conference South managers.
"We'll take something from beating Eastleigh (third in Conference South) in an earlier round of the FA Cup and we'll give them a game."
Mehew was disappointed with the speed in which the referee ruled the pitch unplayable for the Leyton Orient tie last Sunday.
However, the delay has given Tom Hamblin, Jordan Goddard and Lewis Hogg time to recover from their injuries and ailments.
"Tom, Lewis and Jordan Goddard had all been quite badly ill or short of match fitness and they've had a week to get over that and hopefully they'll be in better nick," he said.
