Gloucester Civic Trust Heritage Open Days crowds up 10%
MORE than 3,000 people checked out Gloucester's historic landmarks and lesser-known corners last month.
Attendance at this year's Gloucester Heritage Open Days events organised by the city Civic Trust was 3,400 people in total – up 10 per cent on last year despite the bad weather on Friday and Sunday.
The 65 specialist walks led by the trust attracted nearly 800 people – slightly down on last year because of the weather.
The stewarded buildings such as the former Winfields seed shop and the Fleece Inn Undercroft attracted 2,500 visitors.
