GLOUCESTER will have to do without Freddie Burns, Ben Morgan and Billy Twelvetrees at Wasps on Sunday.

Neither Burns nor Morgan have yet beaten injury, while Twelvetrees has not been released by England for weekend Premiership action.

Stuart Lancaster’s England squad will meet for a two-day training camp at St George’s Park, Burton tomorrow.

Eight players will be released on Wednesday night, for league action with their clubs at the weekend.

Twelvetrees is fit, but England have chosen not to allow him to return to Gloucester colours at Adams Park (kick-off 1pm).

Burns is still battling knee ligament trouble suffered in Gloucester’s 36-16 Mont de Marsan win on January 1, while Morgan is yet to recover from the ankle problem he picked up in England’s 38-18 Scotland victory two weeks ago.

There is no Six Nations action this weekend, with England hosting France at Twickenham on Saturday week.

England make the decisions on whether players turn out for their clubs this week, and in holding back the majority of the squad, Twelvetrees is now not available for Gloucester action.

“Burns and Morgan's absence was predictable enough but England not releasing Twelvetrees is just ridiculous. If he played for Tigers, Quins or Sarries, you can bet he would be released. Thank goodness our best and most talented tight head prop, Rupert Harden, will be available. This is another cruical game and therefore Harden will be desperately needed to make sure our scrum isn't shoved all over the park.”
