Gloucester Jail tours sold out.
TOURS behind bars during the fast-approaching History Festival in Gloucester are already sold out.
The trips around the now closed Gloucester Prison take place on September 14 and 15.
They were among five organised by the Ministry of Justice, in conjunction with Heritage Open Days.
Prisons Minister, Jeremy Wright, said he had been pleased to offer local people the opportunity to go behind the gates of former HMP Gloucester.

"We have replaced older prisons like this with newer, cheaper and more efficient accommodation as part of our efforts to drive down running costs," he said.
The guided tours are free, but donations will be taken for Victim Support.
Photographic ID has to be taken along by those lucky enough to have booked the tours, which are not suitable for children aged under 14.
Gloucester Prison, built in 1789, shut at the end of March.
