Gloucester MP gets his bike back
RICHARD Graham has finally had his beloved 'Cherry and White' bike returned to him by police, a week after he lost his keys to the lock securing it outside the Ministry of Justice.
The Gloucester MP is famous for cycling around London whilst on Parliamentary duty, and in his constituency tending to local matters.
Named after the city's rugby team, Cherry and White had spent the last week or so outside justice secretary Chris Grayling's office.
Mr Graham had visited the department - but lost his keys to the padlock.

"An enormous bolt cutter from the police did the trick," he said.
"The police in the Commons are a terrific team and they're all pleased to see the Cherry and White back in action, even though some of them are misguided enough to support teams like Harlequins and London Irish."

“I'd rather have a decent MP, just for a change. Or do we get the MP we deserve?”

“I Don't Think Some Folks Read This Report Correctly, This Happened Outside Chris Graylings Office In London & Not Gloucester. That's Possibly Why The Bike Was Still In Tact, If It Was Outside Boots In Gloucester Town Centre, Cherry & White Would Have Quite Possibly Been History & Bouncing Up The Listings On Flea Bay! :)”

“He was lucky to get his bike back intact. I remember some years back walking past gloucester library in brunswick road, and seeing just the frame of a bike dangling from the wall it had been "secured" to. Everything had been stripped off it, it was like a carcass that had been picked clean by vultures, and in a manner of speaking it had been !!”

So I do not think it is for show!
