“The place could be turned into a heritage/small business centre. There are many artisans and creative types who would welcome being able to work together, hopefully for a realistic rent. There are also kitchens, workshops, toilets etc. already on site and ready to go.”

“In a strange way(no pun intended) I think it's sad to see the loss of Gloucester Prison, from a historical view(only)
I have no doubt that it will now stand idle for many years.
In the meantime, why not make some money out of it?
I for one would love the chance to look around the buildings,(and be able to walk out afterwards) and I am sure many others would too.
Who better than these volenteers to be tour guides, surely a small admission fee,per person would be acceptable.
What a fantastic chance to personally look first hand, at some of the cities history, before it,s dacay prevents it.”
