Gloucester Schools celebrate their victory
Gloucester's A Squad turned in a fine performance to defeat visitors Bassetlaw and lift the annually contested Challenge Shield, though the final scoreline was a little harsh on the Nottinghamshire side.
Early Gloucester pressure brought its reward when Collins and Douce combined to set up Basford to net with a fine strike into the far corner, and Cronin doubled the lead on the stroke of half time.
