Gloucester builders awarded for unique Cheltenham home
BUILDERS have been presented an award for their workmanship on a home build in Cheltenham.
Upton Builders was presented the Cheltenham Civic Society award by Mayor Colin Hay for its work on a home in Charlton Kings.
The family firm, established by Dean Peart more than 20 years ago, were praised for the authenticity of it build, made completely of dry stone

The building, named Elysium, has gone down a storm with borough council planners.
Project manager Jason Peart worked very closely with his team to build the one-off contemporary home and said he was very proud to accept the award.
Jason said: "It has take a huge amount of hard work and time to complete so it is an absolute privilege to receive this award.
"And it was only due to the years of experience behind the family business that we have managed to pull it off."
