The small handmade preserve company is founded & run by classically trained chef Sarah Churchill.Sarah's culinary background and training has been at the sharp end of the knife in some of the UK's finest hotels and restaurants, including the two star Michelin Square restaurant in Mayfair where Sarah honed her cooking skills working under renowned chef Philip Howard. Most recently she has enjoyed 10 years in the Cotswolds working at the fantastic food mecca - Daylesford Organic, founded and run by JCB's Lord and Lady Bamford, before setting up her preserve company in 2011
The Marmalade Awards – What they all about? – These quirky awards were founded in 2006 by Jane Hasell-McCosh with the initial idea of preserving, growing and widening one of the most English of customs – making marmalade. They have gone on to generate a following far beyond Jane's wildest expectations and allow many different varieties of marmalade to come together and allow the judges the great opportunity to taste them all!

The Awards are centred on Dalemain Mansion, a Georgian stately home lived in by the same family for over 300 years, which also happens to hold a very rich archive of Marmalade recipes. The Awards have humour and a life of their own and have inspired people from all over the world to get involved.
For the past seven years,The World's Original Marmalade Awards & Festival are firmly placed at the centre of the marmalade map. From 50 jars in 2005, the Awards have grown each year and in 2012, nearly, 1,800 jars of marmalade were entered and judged
The Dalemain Marmalade Award judges are composed of journalists and people well respected in the food industry, Including Dan lepard & Pam Corbin
The Artisans' Category is for commercial marmalade makers who use the traditional open-pan method. The numbers increase every year, and makers from all parts of the U.K. and Europe enter the competition.
"I am absolutly thrilled with the result I have achieved with Artisan KItchen at the marmalade awards, the awards are recognised worldwide as the benchmark for quality mamalades & really helps to promote the quality i strive to achieve with all my preserves"
