Gloucester children build sculpture for prayer week
Pupils at Bishops' College have been getting into the spirit of their faith during another prayer week.
And the Gloucester school, which is the city's only church of England secondary school, had a special treat lined up for its pupils.

KEEPING THE FAITH: Bishops' College pupils Beneasha McNaught, Richard Carey, Phil Hooten and Amber King.
School chaplain Chris Blockley said: "The pupils had to choose objects from around the room which spoke to them.
"Then they put them in a box and handed them to us in the centre of the room, where we built a mountain of boxes up.
"It was about them dealing with their thoughts, their hopes, their dreams and their prayers."
Mr Blockley added that children at the school were given a choice about their faith.
He said: "My policy is that we offer the Christian faith to the pupils, we don't force it on them."

“It is nice to read something positive about the pupils and what they are doing. I was invited to join my children in the Prayer Room to enjoy the experience myself. We would like to say thank you to both the Chaplains for their hard work preparing the items for the boxes and making the event so sucessful.”

“Fantastic work yet again Bishops'. Glad our children get the opportunity to express themselves - whatever their beliefs!”
