Gloucester fans awesome – Morgan
A CAREER cut short by injury robbed Olly Morgan of bowing out on his terms and in his own time.
The 27-year-old should have had many more years fearlessly chasing high balls on the Kingsholm turf.
His 21-month knee battle might have got the better of him, but on Saturday night the rock-solid full-back was able to prevent injury totally spoiling his Cherry and Whites swansong.
Morgan led Gloucester on to the field for their Heineken Cup clash with Perpignan.

The former Millfield School pupil was 'blown away' by the response from the fans, with Kingsholm, to a man, on its feet voicing support and gratitude.
"The reception was amazing, a lot louder than I expected and the whole thing was way beyond my expectation," admitted the twice-capped England fullback.
"It was a great gesture from the club, and wonderful from the supporters.
"It was definitely something that was good for me personally, to be able to bring closure to everything that goes with it.
"Now I can move forward and say what's done is done.
"It was a big send-off, so wow.
"I would say thanks very much to everyone for their reaction, it was great and I'm extremely touched.
"I think I'll lead the team out every week now after that!
"Nights like that are what make Kingsholm and Gloucester special and all part of the reason why I still want to be involved at the club in the future."
