Gloucester gunman Michael Jones: 'Don't move or I'll kill you'
GUNMAN Michael Jones ran up to a stranger in a city street, waving a pistol and warning: "Don't move or I'll kill you."
Jones, 21, of Cheltenham Road East, Churchdown, terrified the man so much he was "frozen with fear", Gloucester Crown Court heard.
Prosecutor Lisa Hennessy said the man, known only as Mr Hussain, was walking along London Road, Gloucester, at 2.05am on June 5 when Jones ran out of Oxford Road.
"To Mr Hussain's horror, Jones pointed a black handgun at him and began to run towards him.

"He shouted 'I've got a loaded gun. Don't move or I'll kill you'.
"Jones got to three feet away from him and stopped. He pointed the gun in his face. Then Jones seemed to realise that he was not the man he was looking for and he ran off."
Mrs Hennessy said armed police were sent to Jones' home, where a realistic imitation Beretta semi-automatic pistol was found.
Jones had previous convictions for robbery, affray possessing offensive weapons and criminal damage. He pleaded guilty to possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause Mr Hussain to believe unlawful violence would be used against him and was jailed for a year.
Defence solicitor Nicola Berryman said Jones had been involved in an incident earlier that night and had lost a tooth.
He went home to clean himself up, saw the gun, and decided to take it out to look for the man involved.
Judge Jamie Tabor told Jones: "You ran up to an entirely innocent man and uttered those words, which made him absolutely terrified."
