Forget the pressure of helping to win the World Cup, Gloucester Rugby legend Phil Vickery is facing the ultimate challenge of being quizzed on how well he knows his wife.

Ex-Cherry and White and England player Phil will be appearing on ITV1's All Star Mr and Mrs show this Saturday with his wife Kate.

On Valentine's weekend, they will face the classic love test on the hit show which is presented by Phillip Scofield and Fern Britton.

But it will all be in the name of charity as they will be raising money for the Pied Piper Appeal which helps sick children in Gloucestershire.

Wasps prop Phil will appear with his wife on the show to try to win cash for the charity and indeed the famous carriage clock.

The pair have two children.

    “Toddy, you silly person.

Like most foresters, if they made a program about me it would be called "Mr and Sheep".”

“Surely "Mr and Mrs" is a homophobic program anyway...

Offensive to gays, lesbians and transgender people.

What about "Mr and Mr", "Mrs and Mrs", "Ms and Ms" "Mr and (used to be) Mr" etc...

    Terrible program!

Good luck to Mr and Mrs V anyway, get some cash for LOCAL charities instead of "overseas aid" for a change.”

    “That is tremendous news.
Mr and Mrs is one of my favourite programs. It's a pit Derek Batey no longer presents it but it's still compulsive viewing. I can't wait.
Thank you for informing us of this exciting event....”

“oh dear, someone has sour grapes - Oh purrlease!, Glos - they are doing something good for charity, why moan about that. There are quite a few ex Glos players who have settled in Glos, because they like it, give them a break!”

“This is not news....this is not local worthy news.... I'm getting bored of The Citizen...might set my own paper up...that's the problem with The Citizen they have no local competition.

Bring back the Where I Live section! At least that was news from your community!”

“Apart from the fact he lived here for 10 years, was one of Gloucester's finest players, Mrs V is from Gloucestershire, they have bought a home in Gloucestershire, and they're raising money for a Gloucestershire charity, there's not much local about this story.”
