Gloucester's Lua Lokotui cited for tackle on Dave Attwood - along with Darren Dawidiuk
LUA Lokotui has been cited for his part in the tackle on Dave Attwood that saw Darren Dawidiuk sent off in Friday night’s West Country derby.
The Gloucester lock will join Dawidiuk in a disciplinary hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice on Monday, March 11.
Hooker Dawidiuk was red carded for an alleged tip tackle on ex-Gloucester lock Attwood, in Gloucester’s 31-25 defeat at The Recreation Ground on Friday.
Tongan second row Lokotui has now been cited for his part in the same challenge.

Cherry and Whites boss Davies lamented Dawidiuk’s sending off in the wake of Friday’s defeat.
An extra citing for 33-year-old Lokotui could add to Davies’ frustrations.

“Nigel Davies is the man in the know and he selects Harden to start all the tough and important games. That puts Django_G's knowledge and assertions into perspective.”

“It would be a disaster waiting to happen if we went into the season's run in without Rupert Harden and therefore having to endure a weakened scrum.”

“Most people know that Rupert Harden is the top rated and best tight head prop at Gloucester Rugby. The only one who denies this (because he is clueless) is the man of many identities Django_G and all his other identities.”

“Here's hoping that our top rated and best tight head at Glaws, i.e. Rupert Harden, was not seriously injured last Friday and that he is back for season's run in.”

“I am looking forward to seeing Harden at his magnificent best in the run in games. You just know that he is the best man for the job at tight head. I hope he is fit and available.”
