“Although starved of investment the centre is one of the most profitable in the country.
The staff team and standard of tuition has customers returning time and time again.
Interesting Alfredo you mention Tamworth. A travelator lift that keeps stopping and inferior teaching - give me Glos anyday!!
Fingers crossed Jon Nike don't buy it.”

“The area the slope is on is designated for recreational use as far as I know so housing is not an option. As others have said the loss of the ski centre would be a great loss but it has been starved of investment for a number of years and is in desperate need of an upgrade. Interesting that Hemel has been mentioned, the Snow Centre is a former dry slope and it's success has brought jobs, money and investment into the area - worth thinking about I'd say. Some sort of green building on the site, with turf roof (like Hemel) would fit the bill in my opinion.”

“Lets hope the National Trust are intrested in purchasing and any other conservation body then they can return the whole of Robinswood Hill into a complete nature reserve and keep it as a place of NATURAL beauty.”

“This is a great facility which needs a buyer as soon as possible. It would be even better if the buyer could invest and do something Hemel Hempstead has just done with their Snow Centre. Would be such a boost for the South West”

“Thanks Douglas, Dymock just what I want an incenerator across the road from my house. As it is the land will probably be sold to some developer who will turn it into more housing, so much for my view of Robinswood Hill. Won't be anywhere left soon for wildlife.”

“I hope that the sale of the Centre will be for the benefit of us all. The golf course needs a bit of work but the ski slope is very popular and hosts many races throughout the year - it would be huge loss if that disappeared. Lets also not forget the staff who work there making it a friendly place to go!”

“Alfredo - you've confused me. Are you saying that the lifts are going downhill?”
