THE INQUEST into the death of Christopher Nicholls, the missing man discovered near to Beggar's Roost traveller site in Staverton has been set for February 28 at 2pm at Gloucestershire Coroner's Court. His remains were found in 2008, discovered in a derelict garden shed at the end of a long garden behind a semi-detached house in Staverton, midway between Gloucester and Cheltenham. It is thought he once worked for the Connors family of Irish Travellers, convicted of forced labour charges last year. When passers-by discovered his remains on May 10, 2008 police cordoned off the area and officers carried out forensic investigations for a week. A Home Office pathologist and other experts were called in.
