Gloucestershire Police and Crime Commissioner survey
Gloucestershire is about to vote for the county's first Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) on November 15.
The new £65,000 a year PCC will have wide ranging powers over policing and the criminal justice system in Gloucestershire - including a mandate to hire or fire chief constables.

“Because the advert is pandering to a PC viewpoint by only showing 'white' criminals, if this is to be a foretaste of how things will be handled, then as a white who is discriminated against, I do do not see any benefits of PCC. We already have the situation where certain crimes are 'buried' in the interests of PC and no description given of perpetrators unless they are white. There will be just someone else committed to walking on eggshells out of fear.”
