Gloucestershire firefighters demonstrate flooding responses
EMERGENCY flooding responses have been demonstrated by Gloucestershire firefighters.
A rescue boat and crew from the county's service took part in a major Defra exercise yesterday.
The event, hosted by Dorset Fire and Rescue Service, involved more than 150 partner organisations including other firefighters, police, RNLI, RSPCA and voluntary organisations.
They carried out a search and rescue operation in the area to show how they co-ordinate services in flooding conditions.
