Adrian Prout jailed for at least 18 years
Wealthy landowner Adrian Prout was this afternoon ordered to serve a minimum of 18 years in jail for the murder of his wife Kate.
The 47-year-old, from Redmarley, was jailed for life for killing the 55-year-old.

Mrs Prout disappeared in November 2007 amid acrimonious divorce proceedings.
Her body has never been found.

Her husband, who appeared emotionless as he was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court this afternoon, was found guilty of her murder on Friday.
Jailing him, Mr Justice Nigel Davis said: "One piece of evidence that will stick in my mind is that Kate used to remember her parents by laying flowers on their graves.
"I suspect her family would like to place flowers on her grave.
"They cannot, because of you."
