Gloucestershire police warn against dangerous new 'rock star' drug
A WARNING has been issued by Gloucestershire police on the dangers of yet another new drug to hit the black market.
Mystery drug 'rock star' has put at least ten users in hospital with breathing problems, racing pulses and even seizures in Kent and Scotland.
Although no known cases have been recorded in Gloucestershire, police are warning against complacency over the little-known drug.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "As yet we haven't encountered rock star here in the county but our officers will be made aware of this new drug and the effects we may have seen elsewhere in the country.

"Producers often mix up the chemicals in a drug to create a new drug - at the same time making it a complete gamble as to how it is going to affect you. We would urge people to not take the risk of becoming a casualty."
