Gloucestershire's famous faces go on display at school
HOW many famous faces of Gloucestershire can you recognise?
Pupils from Finlay Community School and the Gloucester Academy have teamed up to paint the faces of 10 of the county's most famous residents.

COLOURFUL: Caitlin Kay, 13, with her picture of Dennis Potter.

team: Linxi Aylmer, nine, and Chloe-Anne Hensley, 14, with their picture of Dick Whittington.

GOOD WORK: Harry Hopkins, 13, and Szymon Slowinski, 10, with their picture of JK Rowling.

collaboration: Finlay Community School pupils with their artwork.

It is part of a collaborative art project between the primary and secondary schools which saw 10 youngsters team up with 10 older peers, with each pair working on a portrait.
The works are being displayed at the primary school in Tredworth.

The faces include scientist Edward Jenner, philanthropist Robert Raikes, explorer Edward Wilson, composer Gustav Holst, cricketer WG Grace, merchant and politician Richard Whittington, poet Laurie Lee, dramatist Dennis Potter, author JK Rowling and rugby player Mike Teague.
