If a New Year's resolution is to cut down on food miles and eat healthy then Gloucestershire's Food Doctor can help.
Dr James Kirwan is holding an event to encourage more people to become "localvores".

The lecturer from the University of Gloucestershire's Countryside and Community Research Institute is hosting the talk on the local food chain in Cheltenham on Tuesday.
Dr Kirwan's main research interest is how people connect the production and consumption of food.
He said he was looking forward to the event, Local Food For Local People – What's That All About?
"It's all about providing a balanced critique of the issues surrounding local food," he said.
"This includes some of the undoubted benefits it can bring, but also examines the upscaling of local food, whether it should be sold in supermarkets, and eventually coming back to the idea of what really constitutes local food.
"Everyone is welcome to come and share their views and I'm looking forward to hearing them and hopefully answering some of the audience's questions."
The CCRI is based at the University of Gloucestershire's Park campus in Cheltenham.
Dr Kirwan will be shedding light on a variety of issues regarding what we eat and where it comes from.
His talk is part of the university's regular Café Scientifique evenings.
The events begin with a short presentation, followed by a discussion and then questions and opinions raised from the floor.
Admission is free and the event at the Royal Oak pub in Prestbury opens at 7.15pm, starting promptly at 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
Bar food is available and the first drink is sponsored by the University of Gloucestershire.
