Gloucestershire weather latest: Light snow flurry for county
Four lorries got stuck in snow at Bourton-on-the-Hill this morning but a predicted blanketing of the white stuff has largely failed to materialise.
Police have advised motorists to try and avoid the area for the time being. The lorries are stranded on the A44.
Flakes fell overnight across much of the county but little evidence was to be seen in Gloucester this morning, while just a few spots of snow were left on car roofs in Cheltenham.
Temperatures are set to hover around freezing this morning, rising to about 4C by lunchtime, when heavy showers are also predicted.

“hahahahahahahahaha! Not laughing about the poor lorry drivers but laughing about the echo's build up to this snow. In Tewkesbury it was more like a practical joke than snow! There was enough to put my wipers on this morning but it's now raining any evidence of this snow we had will be gone by 12 and forgotten by 2!”
