Going Pudsey potty for Children in Need
CUSTARD pies and pyjamas hit the classroom for a fun-filled BBC Children in Need day.
Schools and and businesses right around the Five Valleys and Severn Vale dreamed up amusing antics to add pennies and pounds to the annual appeal – which has so far raised £26.7million.

Something spotty was the order of the day for clothing at St Dominic's RC Primary School in Woodchester.
Headteacher Maggie Halsley at Rodborough Primary wore her dressing gown to work and a teacher colleague dressed up as a penguin. Horsley CofE Primary pupils made models of appeal mascot Pudsey Bear.

The custard pies were thrown at Stroud Valley Community School and Pudsey visited the Birmingham NEC where South Gloucestershire and Stroud College students and staff set 361.4m as the new Guinness world record for the longest hair extension.
