Golf day aids charitable Tetbury Hospital
A CHARITY golf match raised more than £4,000 for Tetbury Hospital.
Supporters of the good cause formed 18 teams of four who tackled the 18 holes at Minchinhampton Golf Club near Stroud.
The winners were then presented with their trophy by actor Nathaniel Parker, of TV's Inspector Lynley Mysteries fame, who lives near the club in Avening. Tetbury councillor Stephen Hirst, the chairman of Tetbury Hospital, was on hand too, and also congratulated the winners Kieran Archer, Sebastian Byron, Adam Byron and Chris Redpath.
Players and spectators enjoyed lunch afterwards at the clubhouse when there was also an auction to further aid the hospital good cause.
