Good weather for swimming
SUNSHINE and clear blue skies are expected to attract hundreds of people to Cheltenham's Lido today.
Staff at the outdoor pool, in Keynsham Road, say the Indian summer will give their takings a boost as the season draws to a close.
Lido manager Ian Barton said: "It hasn't been a bad season for us, despite the weather but this late summer sunshine is very welcome and we're hoping it will be a busy weekend."
The Cheltenham Triathlon will take place at the venue tomorrow from 7am.
