MS sufferer Steve Pearce, chairman of the Gloucester and Royal Forest of Dean branch of the society, said: "We're hoping that as many people as possible in Gloucestershire will sign up for Cake Break. "Purely and simply, we'd like to get more people involved with the MS Society. On a local level, the money raised will be used to help people with MS and their carers."

Chloe Robbins, activities co-ordinator at St Oswald's retirement village will be hosting a Cake Break event later this year. To register, visit www.cakebreak.org.uk.
