Guiting Power man, 19, killed in B4077 car accident at Bourton-on-the-Hill

POLICE are investigating after a collision left a man dead and another seriously injured near Bourton-on-the-Hill last night.

Two cars were involved in a crash at the cross roads of the B4077 at about 6.45pm on Monday night.

A green Ford Fiesta collided with a green Land Rover Freelander, which killed the 19-year-old driver of the Ford Fiesta, who was from Guiting Power.

The 59-year-old driver of the Land Rover was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with serious injuries.

The road was closed for eight hours while police carried out investigations.
